8-way analogue adapter for DS-6 systems
To protect the investment of our customers' existing analogue outdoor intercom stations and amplifiers, we offer cost-effective integration into our IP-supported decentralised communication systems. Up to eight weatherproof intercom stations or amplifiers can be connected to this device. The analogue adapter supplements the analogue connection slots for connecting individual intercom stations or amplifiers.
The compact device can be connected directly to a DS-6 network, even fully redundantly if required. This is made possible by the integrated switches, as known from the digital 8-way U adapter. The network sides (front sides) of the two adapters are therefore identical.
The analogue call stations and amplifiers are connected to the rear of the adapter via RJ-45 sockets. There are 6 bidirectional subscriber lines and one 2-wire AF line available per call station connection.
The amplifier is also connected via a 2-wire AF line and additionally via four outputs for speaker circuit selection.
The power supply for the call stations can also be obtained from the device.
Function and programming correspond to the familiar analogue DS-6 plug-in unit.

Digital weatherproof outdoor intercom station with dialling keypad for DS-6 systems
The dialling keypad should enable the user to establish a connection to another subscriber for whom he does not have a destination button. The "dialling" function should be assigned to a "free" destination button, which then behaves as if it were a normal destination button. This can be an individual connection button or a collective or group call button. The assignment by dialling can be deleted with a "delete button".
The following functions are related to the "Dial-up connection" functionality. The functions of the first two buttons remain unchanged.
Depending on the configuration, the destinations are dialled using 3-digit destination dialling numbers.
Only after the last digit has been entered does the "Speech standby display", to signalise the correct and complete entry of a valid destination. The number input can be abbreviated using the * key, e.g. "25*" instead of "025". From the end of the entry (3 digits or after "*"), the "programmed" button behaves like a normal destination button - until the "programming" is cancelled again.
If the destination shown is busy, it is illuminated. If the destination calls this call station, the call indicator flashes. Etc.
The "programmed" destination button can now also be pressed to address the corresponding destination. Once communication is complete, the programming can be cancelled by pressing the delete button. The other features correspond to the features of the WFD or WFD_Ex without dialling keypad.
