After a successful 2011, we are starting the new year 2012 with a new product launch and are proud to present the revolution in sound reinforcement technology - our new\u00a0DS-6 PA-Control<\/strong>. It combines\u00a0All important functions for controlling and monitoring a sound system<\/strong>. Instead of several different sound components, only a single controller is required.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

He takes over the\u00a0Connecting the amplifiers\u00a0<\/strong>(one per channel) to the DS-6 network using a redundant DS-6 interface for each controller and forwards all error messages via this interface. This means that the analogue DS-6 plug-in unit is no longer required.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

With the DS-6 PA-Control, a total of\u00a04 speaker circuits switchable per amplifier<\/strong>so that it replaces the LK connection plug-in unit.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

At the same time, the DS-6 PA Control ensures\u00a0Amplifier failure monitoring\u00a0<\/strong>also during sound reinforcement and for automatic switching to a redundant amplifier (Average switching<\/strong>), so that the monitoring\/haviour insert is no longer necessary.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It also monitors the amplifier for\u00a0Overload<\/strong>e.g. by retrofitting additional speakers, short-circuiting or increasing the power of individual speakers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

These functions are included as standard in the scope of delivery of the DS-6 PA Control. Other functions are also realised via additional software components.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The\u00a0Impedance monitoring and earth fault detection\u00a0<\/strong>can be integrated into the new DS-6 PA Control as a software component. This means that the Lineguard is no longer required.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Another software component for the DS-6 PA-Control is the\u00a0Environment-dependent volume control<\/strong>so that this additional card is no longer necessary.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

With ring-shaped cabling, the\u00a0Cable loops of two loudspeaker circuits monitored and fed in on both sides in the event of a line interruption\u00a0<\/strong>can be used. This also eliminates the need for the DS-6 switchover plug-in unit for loudspeaker cables.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

By bundling the most important sound reinforcement functions in one device, the new DS-6 PA-Control\u00a0Many advantages\u00a0<\/strong>with it. One major advantage is the\u00a0Low wiring effort<\/strong>. The existing sound reinforcement concept requires a great deal of wiring due to the large number of individual components and their connection technology (wire wrap).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

New version of the configuration programme DS-6 Config<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new version of our configuration programme DS-6 Config (version 1.0.98) is now available. This makes the configuration of our DS-6 systems even easier.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new programme is characterised above all by a\u00a0Easier handling\u00a0<\/strong>and through the\u00a0Optimisation of data management\u00a0<\/strong>off. For example, the device names specified by the customer are automatically changed in all places when changes are made.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Another advantage is the\u00a0Display of the history<\/strong>. So all\u00a0Changes to the system\u00a0<\/strong>and can be tracked later.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new configuration programme also takes account of the company's international orientation. The\u00a0Menu navigation\u00a0<\/strong>Can be adjusted\u00a0in German, English, Russian and French<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In addition, the new DS-6 Config\u00a0Many new functions\u00a0<\/strong>with it. Also new is the\u00a0Automatic creation of the speech connection plan\u00a0<\/strong>as HTML or Excel file (if Excel is installed).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The new DS-6 Config also offers the option of\u00a0Automatically generate button labelling according to the entered call destination<\/strong>. These can then be easily printed out, which saves a lot of work.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
